Anne Eubank BSN, RN
Owner/Legal Nurse Consultant
Anne Eubank is a co-founder and legal nurse consultant at LexMed Consulting. Anne works with law firms specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Through diligent record review, medical literature research, and critical analysis, she helps determine the merits and potential pitfalls in cases, the extent of injuries sustained, and compliance issues. As a nurse consultant, Anne is passionate about helping attorneys understand their cases, and more importantly, helping them advocate for their clients.
Following nursing school Anne worked in the pediatric intensive care unit at a major children’s hospital. After that, she went on to work as a nurse paralegal for a prominent medical malpractice law firm in Houston, Texas. Among many tasks as a nurse paralegal Anne has reviewed thousands of potential medical malpractice claims, compiled and organized medical records, drafted documents, met with clients, attended depositions, actively participated in trial, and retained and worked with medical experts.
After years of practice in the medical legal field Anne has extensive experience reviewing cases involving hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, pharmacies, and home health care agencies. Additionally, she has attended many medical legal conferences, CNE’s, and follows various medical journals and associations.
Anne is a native Texan. She is originally from Corpus Christi but currently resides in Houston with her husband. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Nursing. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, and she loves traveling.
Courtney Keller BSN, RN
Owner/Legal Nurse Consultant
Courtney Keller is a co-founder and legal nurse consultant at LexMed Consulting. In her role at LexMed, Courtney works with law firms specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice. Personal injury and medical malpractice cases are complex, and Courtney helps attorneys and their clients navigate the healthcare environment and understand standards of care, determine the nature of the injuries, damages, regulatory compliance, and other issues clients face related to medical malpractice and personal injury. Courtney is committed to finding the real issues related to medical care, answering questions about cases, and relaying information to attorneys that are pertinent.
Prior to joining the LexMed Consulting team, she spent 10 years in healthcare working in Women’s Health. Courtney is an accomplished nurse with experience that includes, but is not limited to, Labor and Delivery and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She believes that her clinical experience and passion to be an advocate for patients translates into compassion for clients who have endured medical malpractice. She hopes that her work will help provide a sense of understanding and closure
Courtney is originally from Gonzales, Louisiana but currently resides in Humble, TX with her husband and son. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Louisiana Tech University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University. In her free time, she enjoys travel, good food, friends, and family.
